Filtering What Should We Remember

Our minds process big chunks of data all the time and they need to decide what information is important for us to keep in working memory and what information should be filtered out so to make this process easier and more automatic they install mental biases. If the information that our minds work with is not necessary for us, this information is automatically filtered out to save mental capacity.
